VOLUNTEER & LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Every JH Aotearoa Programme is organised and led by volunteers like you. Many families who attend JH Aotearoa are deeply impacted by the service, love and character of the JH Volunteer Crew.
If you have a heart after God and a desire to see others come to know and love Him, and to see family relationships strengthened, then becoming a JH volunteer is a wonderful opportunity, not to be missed.
YOU WILL:
Be a part of building, strengthening and restoring family relationships within Aotearoa.
Have the chance to put your faith into action by choosing to serve and give to others.
Be challenged to go deeper in your own relationship with God.
Receive three days of training – where you will get to experience aspects of the programme for yourself, and prepare for serving the families who will come to the Programme.
Be meeting and working with, other amazing young leaders from throughout New Zealand and America.
Have the opportunity to experience some of the adventure activities available to JH Aotearoa guests.
Minimum age to be a volunteer is 17 years old

FROM A VOLUNTEER
THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS WITHin THE JH AOTEAROA LEADERSHIP TEAM:
ONE: JH General Crew
You can become part of the General JH team who are a part of building, strengthening and restoring relationships within our nation. The roles within this team are varied and all of them involve serving and caring for the guests who do the programme. Possible roles may involve things like helping with an adventure activity, to serving meals and preparing sites.
TWO: JH Leadership Crew: Content Lead, Huddle Lead or Intercession Team
If you have had previous leadership responsibility and experience or would like to be considered as a part of the Leadership Team. You may be given a role as a small group leader (Huddle leader), or a Content leader (these leaders normally share a short message.) To apply for a leadership role fill in the registration from the button below. After this, you will be emailed another very detailed leadership questionnaire to fill in. Leadership Crew places available each year are linked to the intake of guests for that year, and not everyone who applies will receive a place on the leadership team.
